The Computer Technology department is an off-shoot of the Career and Technology Studies area. It consists of four strands of study - Business Technology, Computer Science, Design Studies and Hypermedia Technology. The Computer Science strand offers an Advanced Placement route as shown in the diagram below.

Jasper Place has a new Computer Technology Center that adds to the five existing labs three new specialized labs, a student collaboration center, and a development area for teachers . These new labs represent a significant shift in direction at Jasper Place. They will allow us to both broaden and deepen our offerings in areas such as Robotics, 3D Modeling, CAD/CAM, Computer Animation, E-Commerce, Network Operating Systems, and Digital Logic.
